| "What Really Matters" | |
| Vocals: Catman Cohen, Henry Iglesias Catman says: "I used to live a much more indulgent lifestyle, particularly during my Las Vegas years. And I wish every person on the planet could experience a rich lifestyle for some period of their lives, if only to come to understand that things and stuff are not the true path leading to inner happiness. Not that I am a champion of poverty as a means to achieving Nirvana because poverty is rarely an antidote to misery. But the sole pursuit of materialism ultimately consigns a person into a world surrounded by those who equally revere material things. It is a world that is a magnet for parasites, scamsters, and vacuous personalities. In the end analysis, if material objects and shallow pursuits are all that make you happy, then you are doomed should the day arrive when Fate takes it all away. Everybody needs to build a foundation of inner happiness that is NOT dependent upon material things. In reality, we own nothing in this world, we are ALL renters, borrowing stuff until Death passes it onto our survivors." | |
